The Kelly Mac Method of body conditioning was developed by Kelly Mac as an updated derivative of the traditional methods originated by Joseph Pilates over 85 years ago. It involves a series of warm up, workout and cool down exercises all designed to readily and vastly improve your overall physical and mental health. The Method is a unique system of stretching and strengthening exercises, which can help tone your muscles, improve your posture, increase your flexibility, balance, and unite your mind and body.
Exercises are performed on a mat (Pilates Mat). Like traditional Pilates, the central concept of Kelly's method is strengthening the "Powerhouse" or core of the body - the abdominal muscles, obliques, buttocks, and the muscles around the spine. The emphasis is on flowing movements requiring the use of multiple muscle groups simultaneously. Controlled breathing and concentration are essential, making Kelly's method truly a great workout for the entire body and the mind. This balance between strength and flexibility drastically reduces the potential for injury and greatly enhances ones "functional" health - the ability to perform daily tasks.

In the Fall of 2003, Kelly Mac opened her first studio. There was a high demand and waiting lists before she was even opened for business. All of her classes were filled to capacity. Incredible word of mouth spread quickly and Kelly Mac was soon known as "The Pilates Expert". Quickly, she had to move into a larger studio and into her third largest studio in western New York to accommodate the demand and popularity of The Kelly Mac Method.
Today, Kelly is back in Southern California. She trains in clubs, studios and in clients homes.
Kelly Mac is an AFAA Examiner/NASM Certified Fitness Instructor, Individual Trainer, Aerobics, Cardio Kickbox, Step, Indoor Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, Strength Training, YogaFit, Peak Pilates Reformer, Maddog Spin, TRX Suspension, LeGree Method, BootyBarre, Flirty Girl, Zumba, with specialization in Pilates!
Additionally, she is a California Licensed Cosmetologist, Certified Professional Make Up Artist (MUA), Lash Extension Specialist, and Facial Expert.
